Are you aware that new top level domains will be coming out soon? Well, basically top level domains (TLDs) refer to the last part of a domain name, such as ‘.com’, ‘.co.uk’, ‘.org’, etc. It is obvious that being able to register a new domain name with these TLDs has become a difficult task due to the inavailability of most the names onw would want to use.
This has given rise to the use of hyphens and other not-too-ideal characters within domain names. However, with over 700 new TLDs soon to be made available, businesses/organisations will be able to register names ideal and suitable for what they do. Some of the new ones expected are; ‘.ltd’, ‘.web’, ‘.london’, ‘.app’, ‘.scot’, ‘.shop’, etc.
